Last year delivered a bumper crop of new brands from Tabacalera Perdomo, including the fantastic, re-blended Perdomo Reserve series. But, the Slow-Aged cigars might be the pick of the litter. It's just my kind of cigar: see, not only do we get quality tobaccos, over-the-top aging and superior flavor but the price is unbeatable for a blend of this caliber. The wrapper is a smooth, oily Connectiut covering four different Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos, including a choice strain of ligero leaf that amps up the flavor profile just a touch. This complex blend results in a deliciously smooth, robust and vivacious flavor with creaminess and coffee-like notes. Topping off the exquisite experience is the price.
